PA Farm Show

Over the weekend we went to the Pennsylvania Farm Show in Harrisburg. We saw some farm animals, ate some good food, sat in on a cooking show, and saw some Eby trailers!

open for suggestions

I will never watch the eagles again, they make me sick. All you have to do is beat the cardinals and you're in the super bowl, but I guess I can't honestly say I was surprised. It's not a question of whether or not the eagles will ever win a super bowl, it's more of a question of how long they keep your hopes up before inevitibly smashing them. So, since I'm no longer watching the eagles I need a new team to root for, and I'm open for any suggestions. The new team doesn't necesarily have to be playoff quality material, but they should at least be exciting to watch. Maybe with lots of physical talent and no discipline, kind of like the cowboys. Except not the cowboys. Anyway, feel free to post your suggestions for a new team to root for, and I will consider them for a while and then be ready to cheer on my new team next year! At least I will have some small satisfaction watching either the ravens or the steelers (real football teams) embarass the cardinals in the superbowl.

thrifty thrifty!

The other night I was working on my honey-do list, and ended up knocking a lamp onto the floor as I tried to switch it on while my eyes were glued to the tv. This lamp happens to be one of a pair, the other of which also came to an untimely end thanks to me! So, I decided to see if a little can-do attitude and some super glue could make things right, and salvage the remaining lamp. My wife was so proud!

Not bad eh?!

Traffic

I've come to realize how much I hate traffic. We have sooooooo much of it going by right in front of our apartment and it drives me crazy. I wish that for at least one minute out of my day it would be silent. It also doesn't help that they recently decided for some unknown reason to put in a few traffic lights just to the east of us. Now, traffic gets backed up to way past our apartment. Tractor trailers drive by regularly along with every other vehicle ever invented. But now we get the added sounds of a tractor trailers air brakes because instead of just flying past they have to stop because the light turned red. Makes me mad especially when I just put Seth down for a nap and the loudest tractor trailer you ever heard drives past, or slows down which is even louder. It is annoying too through the night (after I've been up to settle Seth back to sleep) when I finally get tucked snugly back into bed all I hear is the roar of traffic and I myself can't get to sleep.
